ELBIS is a family-run wholesaler of home appliances, household chemicals and baby products based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, trading since 1990. We started as ELBA; since 2001 we have operated as ELBIS Sp. z o.o. — today the third generation of the Biskup family works in the company, and our goods reach over 200,000 customers a year in Poland and Czechia.

Our history
Milestones
Czesław Biskup founds a family wholesale business in household appliances and electrical fittings. Its customers are shops across Upper Silesia and the former Bielsko voivodeship — and, over time, a steady network of retailers all over Poland.
The company deed is signed in March and on 16 October the company is entered in the National Court Register. It operates from Gen. Maczka 9, with father and son — Czesław and Marcin Biskup — on the board. The second generation is at work.
From December 2006 ELBIS runs wholesale and retail sales on its own, fully family-owned. The head office moves to Partyzantów 65.
We register the elbis-agdrtv.pl domain and in January 2008 the company introduces itself online for the first time. The same domain still carries the company e-mail today.
We start selling on Allegro — the szuflandia20 account has been running ever since. Online retail becomes a second leg next to wholesale.
In February sklepbielskobiala.pl, the first ELBIS online store, goes live, and in April its offer appears on Ceneo. Orders ship from the same warehouse that supplies our wholesale customers.
Offices and warehouse move to no. 27 on Gen. Boruty-Spiechowicza street — the street the company has called home ever since.
The AGD-PERFEKT account opens on Allegro. Over time it becomes our biggest retail channel — today it collects close to 20,000 positive ratings a year with 98.6% recommendations.
On 8 April we sign a partnership agreement with the TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała football club. Football is the Biskup family’s second passion, right after trade.
We register agdperfekt.pl — the online store takes the name known from Allegro and replaces sklepbielskobiala.pl. The same year the “Official Lovela store” opens on Allegro.
In February Marcin Biskup, vice-president and co-builder of the company, passes away unexpectedly. Iwona Biskup becomes commercial proxy and the shares pass to the family’s third generation.
We move into our own building at no. 39. In April the Czech store mimiadum.cz launches, the B2B platform for wholesale goes live, and in December we complete the roll-out of the enova365 ERP. The “Authorised Bosch distributor” account opens on Allegro.
The AGD Perfekt range goes live on further marketplaces — Empik and Erli. The Czech channel grows too: mimiadum.cz collects its first hundreds of reviews on Czech comparison sites.
With X DEFT of Bielsko-Biała we extend enova365 with warehouse handling: automated dispatch preparation, banking and bookkeeping. In February we sponsor the first Marcin Biskup Memorial tournament.
Racking takes over the former sales floor — we keep more goods in stock and ship straight away. From April we invoice via KSeF, and the family’s third generation now works in the office. 36 years after ELBA started, we trade with over 200,000 customers a year in Poland and Czechia.
